An Evening with UC Berkeley Alumni
in Energy and Resources

Please join us for this exclusive event featuring stimulating conversation and the launch of the BERC alumni network.  This event is only open for registration to UC Berkeley alumni and faculty.

To start off the evening, Michael Peevey, President of the California Public Utilities Commission, will discuss the state of energy in California in the context of the recently established $600 million California Institute for Climate Solutions.

After President Peevey's comments, BERC will discuss the launch of its alumni network, designed to encourage professional networking and educational opportunities among UC Berkeley alumni in energy and resources.

Finally, the evening will conclude with an opportunity to meet mix with fellow alumni, enjoy a glass of wine, and have a light meal.

Please contact us at BERC.alumni.spring.08@gmail.com with any questions about the event or requests for wheelchair accommodations.

PLEASE NOTE: All purchases are final. No refunds will be made. Receipts are sent electronically upon your purchasing tickets and/or parking. Hosted By
Berkeley Energy & Resources Collaborative (BERC)

The Berkeley Energy & Resources Collaborative (BERC) is a student-led organization whose mission is to connect and educate the UC Berkeley energy and resources community. The group acts as a bridge between the many schools, programs, and labs at the University, including the Boalt Hall School of Law, College of Chemistry, College of Engineering, College of Natural Resources, Energy & Resources Group, Goldman School of Public Policy, Haas School of Business, Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, UC Energy Institute, and others. To foster productive applications of university research and technology, BERC also forges connections with the larger energy and cleantech cluster that is growing in the Bay Area and beyond.
